ugh, monday.

a few recent snapshots

oh you guys.

i hate mondays.
especially after having such a great weekend at home.

friday i went and played bingo at our neighborhood clubhouse, and won the most disgusting marshmallow treat known to man.
it was like a giant peep, in the shape of a heart, on a stick.
and it had spongebob's face on it.

saturday we went on a bike ride, and i got to go on a easter egg hunt with my darling niece.

and easter sunday we went to church, then had brunch at my sister's house.
where i ate so much i thought i was going to soon resemble violet beauregard.

it was about as perfect as a weekend can get.

but now i'm back at school, and it's monday, and i have the coughs and sneezes and a little bit of a fever.
monday is always the worst day of the week, i know tomorrow will be much better.

but just in case your monday is as crummy as mine, let's all just take a moment to bask in the glory that is this hilariously confusing video.
if you follow me on twitter or tumblr, you've probably already seen it.
but even if you have, it's worth watching again.

i just can't get enough of it.

how was your weekend, friends?

  1. In response to that video: I DON'T EVEN UNDERSTAND. HOW. WHY. WHAT. I...WHAT. WHAT?!

Also, your weekend sounds lovely! I'm sorry you feel sick. I'm just getting over a chest cold myself and am full of regret after eating way too much. Of everything. Ever.
Feel better soon! BECAUSE I SAID SO.

  2. God, it sounds like you had an amazing weekend. No lie. I'm off school for spring break, but they gave us so much work to do it's not really a break! I hope you get feeling better soon!

  3. Sounds like a lovely weekend. My weekend was fine - better than the week, which was a relief. I was working Saturday so not much fun there, but yesterday was busy. I went to church in the morning and it was the greatest because the pastor compared the end of Mark with Downton Abbey's cliffhangers and everyone was laughing as she mused about what will happen to Mr Bates, and will Mary ever marry Matthew?
And then brunch and egg hunt for the kids and then I explored the new town I'm living in and found the most amazing book store in the world (I think that part made the weekend so good).

I'm impressed though how well they did that video. It's like Ariel was actually there! (But are they seriously shipping Ariel and Sherlock? Why?)
